What is All-American Sunday?
Join us for a special patriotic celebration as we honor the 250th birthdays of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
For two and a half centuries, brave men and women have served in conflicts from the Revolutionary War to today’s global missions, securing and preserving our American freedom. We gather to honor their courage and sacrifice.
This Sunday, we’re especially honored to welcome Vietnam veteran and evangelist Tim Lee—a wounded warrior and dynamic preacher who has shared his powerful story of faith and service for over fifty years.
Whether you’re active duty, a veteran, or a grateful American, you won’t want to miss this meaningful service of honor, celebration, and the Gospel. Come be part of a day that celebrates faith, freedom, and the fighting spirit that has kept our nation strong for 250 years.

Tim Lee
At 18, Tim Lee ran away from home to join the United States Marine Corps. He had loving parents, grew up in church, and had a relationship with Jesus, but rebelled. His motivation was evident—he received two meritorious promotions in three months—and he was committed to being a Marine for the rest of his life.
But in March of 1971, while leading his men on a mine sweep in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, Tim stepped on a landmine and lost both of his legs. He credits that day as the moment God spared his life and changed his direction. “God had taken the legs that carried me from His will,” he said. “My running had finally ended.” From his hospital bed, he made a commitment to tell his story—and point people to Jesus Christ.
After serving as a pastor for five years in southern Illinois, he entered full-time evangelism. Since then, over forty-five years, his ministry has reached millions through churches, schools, radio, and television.
Tim was honored to serve at the request of President Ronald Reagan on the Bicentennial Committee for the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. He has been recognized by the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, and numerous state and local governments. Additionally, he served as the Co-Chair of the national committee of Veterans for Cruz and has been a contributor on Fox News.
